Based on the work of Drs. Angela Belcher of MIT and Evelyn Hu of the University of California, Santa Barbara, Cambrios uses nanostructured inorganic material, fabricated and shaped by biological molecules, to create novel materials and processes. Cambrios is currently commercializing ClearOhm®, a breakthrough transparent conductive film for applications in touch screens, LCDs, and thin film photovoltaics. ClearOhm® silver nanowire coatings simplify electronics manufacturing processes and improve end-product performance.
