Thomas Reardon

Venture Partner

Few people have shaped the evolution of human-computer interaction like Reardon. He brings decades of experience as an inventor, neuroscientist with a PhD, and entrepreneur to Lux. Reardon's journey spans from his early days helping build Internet Explorer, which launched Microsoft into an internet company, to founding CTRL Labs, a Lux portfolio company that pioneered breakthrough brain-machine interface technology before being acquired by Meta. Following the acquisition, Reardon served as VP and Head of Neuromotor Interfaces and Input and Interactions for Reality Labs at Meta. His expertise spans biology, neuroscience, computing interfaces, and AI.

As a Lux venture partner, Reardon sources breakthrough opportunities, serves on boards, create and builds new companies through our Lux Labs program, and provides strategic intelligence across our many themes including inner space (biology + technology), outer space (manufacturing + aerospace + defense), and latent space (AI models + computational infrastructure).
