From the outset, Lux has operated as one team––what we call Unum Lux––one light. When a founder partners with us, they get more than capital or a single board member. They get the full weight of our collective commitment, energy, and expertise—from science to storytelling, syndicate construction to talent recruiting, global customer intros to strategy and advice on legal and geopolitical risk. We’ve always believed in showing up together, solving whatever needs solving, across titles, roles, and functions.

We’re making that philosophy explicit and eliminating the hierarchy of titles—no more general partners or principals, chiefs or heads. We are now simply “partners”. This change doesn’t alter responsibilities. It aligns what we say with how we’ve always worked: collaboratively, decisively, all-in for whatever our Lux family founders need, from the critical to the trivial regardless of role or title.
