Mahi is a Partner on the Capital Formation team at Lux. She helps drive the firm's capital-raising strategy and execution, and works closely with Lux's limited partners.

Mahi began her career at Evercore, where she was part of the GP Advisory team within the Private Funds Group. During her time there, she advised leading managers across buyout, growth, infrastructure, and credit, shaping their positioning and managing investor engagement and allocation from launch through close. Having worked on a number of oversubscribed and expedited raises, Mahi developed a firsthand understanding of what defines successful funds.

Born and raised in Bhopal, India, Mahi came to the US for college and is now based in New York. Outside of work, she's most often found mid-workout, mid-climb, or mid-trail. She's a foodie with a perpetually growing list of restaurants and cafés to get to. Whether it's a new neighborhood spot or a country she's never been to, Mahi's drawn to the same thing: enjoying the unfamiliar.

Mahi graduated from Rutgers Business School, with a double major in Finance and Business Analytics & Information Technology.
